Three-Layer Polypropylene Coating (3LPP Coating) is a highly efficient anti-corrosion technology widely used in the surface treatment of steel pipes to significantly enhance their durability, corrosion resistance, and service life. The coating system consists of three functional layers: the first layer is an epoxy primer, the second is a copolymer adhesive layer, and the third is a polypropylene top layer, together forming a robust multi-layer protective system.
The key advantages of 3LPP coating lie in its exceptional corrosion and high-temperature resistance. The epoxy primer provides excellent adhesion and cathodic protection, effectively isolating the steel pipe from moisture, oxygen, and other corrosive agents in the environment. The intermediate adhesive layer ensures a strong bond between the epoxy and polypropylene layers, preventing delamination. The polypropylene outer layer offers outstanding mechanical strength, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance, protecting the pipe from physical damage during transportation, installation, and operation. Furthermore, 3LPP coating exhibits remarkable chemical resistance and can continuously operate in temperatures up to 110°C, making it ideal for harsh applications such as high-temperature pipelines, chemical transportation, and subsea environments. It is highly resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and salts, and is widely used in industries including oil and gas, chemical processing, municipal engineering, offshore projects, and heating pipelines.
In terms of application, the 3LPP coating process is mature and efficient, suitable for automated large-scale production. The uniform and consistent coating ensures long-term reliability for each steel pipe, greatly extending the service life of pipeline systems and reducing lifecycle maintenance costs. Do you require a minimum order quantity(MOQ)?
We have no minimum order quantity requirements. Even if you only need one steel pipe or one pipe fitting, we can deliver on time and provide comprehensive services. Please note that certain high-grade steel products may require temporary production scheduling, which may result in minimum order quantity requirements. For specific details, please consult our sales team.
Do you offer product samples?
Of course, we provide free samples for products priced below $1,000. You only need to cover the shipping costs. For products priced above $1,000, please contact our sales team to discuss specific fees.
How long is your shipping cycle?
For products that are in stock, we will complete the final processing, quality inspection, packaging, and other steps within two weeks and deliver them as soon as possible according to the shipping schedule. For products that need to be ordered for production, an additional 2-3 weeks of production time will be required depending on the quantity requested.
Do you offer additional quality assurance?
In addition to providing factory warranty certificates, we can also provide test reports from internationally recognized quality testing agencies such as SGS, TUV, and DNV upon customer request. We are also available to assist third-party testing agencies with process inspections and final inspections prior to shipment.
Is it possible to visit your factory?
Of course! Whether it's our own factory, processing plant, or our partners' factories, we welcome you to visit and exchange ideas at any time. If you need our assistance with visa matters, please feel free to contact our sales manager.

We are both a supplier and a manufacturer. We have three processing plants and warehouses, as well as a seamless steel pipe factory.
