The SOCAR Haor modernization project is a major upgrading plan for refining and chemical facilities initiated by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), with a total investment of approximately 850 million US dollars. The project adopts international advanced refining and chemical technologies, which will significantly increase the production capacity of high-value-added oil products to meet the growing demand for clean energy in the European and global markets.
