Three-Layer Polyethylene Coating (3LPE Coating) is an advanced anti-corrosion technology widely applied in the surface treatment of steel pipes to enhance their durability and corrosion resistance. The coating system consists of three distinct layers: an epoxy primer as the first layer, a copolymer adhesive as the second layer, and a polyethylene top layer as the outer protection, together forming a multi-layer composite protection system.
The primary advantage of 3LPE coating lies in its exceptional corrosion protection. The epoxy primer offers excellent adhesion and cathodic protection, effectively isolating the steel pipe from moisture and oxygen in the environment, thereby significantly reducing the risk of corrosion. The intermediate adhesive layer ensures a strong bond between the epoxy and polyethylene layers, while the polyethylene outer layer provides high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, capable of withstanding external impact and physical damage. This ensures the integrity of the pipe during transportation, installation, and operation. Moreover, 3LPE coating exhibits outstanding chemical resistance and UV stability, making it suitable for harsh environments such as high temperatures, high humidity, and chemical exposure. It resists corrosion from a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and salts, and is widely used in industries including oil and gas, chemical processing, municipal engineering, and submarine pipelines.
In terms of application, the 3LPE coating process is mature and efficient, suitable for large-scale industrial production. Do you require a minimum order quantity(MOQ)?
We have no minimum order quantity requirements. Even if you only need one steel pipe or one pipe fitting, we can deliver on time and provide comprehensive services. Please note that certain high-grade steel products may require temporary production scheduling, which may result in minimum order quantity requirements. For specific details, please consult our sales team.
Do you offer product samples?
Of course, we provide free samples for products priced below $1,000. You only need to cover the shipping costs. For products priced above $1,000, please contact our sales team to discuss specific fees.
How long is your shipping cycle?
For products that are in stock, we will complete the final processing, quality inspection, packaging, and other steps within two weeks and deliver them as soon as possible according to the shipping schedule. For products that need to be ordered for production, an additional 2-3 weeks of production time will be required depending on the quantity requested.
Do you offer additional quality assurance?
In addition to providing factory warranty certificates, we can also provide test reports from internationally recognized quality testing agencies such as SGS, TUV, and DNV upon customer request. We are also available to assist third-party testing agencies with process inspections and final inspections prior to shipment.
Is it possible to visit your factory?

We are both a supplier and a manufacturer. We have three processing plants and warehouses, as well as a seamless steel pipe factory.
