ASTM A178/178M, ASME SA-178/SA-178M steel tubes are resistance-welded boiler and superheater tubes of carbon and carbon-manganese steels, which can be formed by bending, crimping, and similar processes, and are also suitable for welding operations, and are fabricated by the resistance welding process.
